About JAKA Zu 18s

  • The most powerful of the Zu S series in terms of payload, the JAKA Zu 18s can handle up to 18 kg, within a working radius of 1073 mm.
  • Despite its size, it can handle delicate tasks, thanks to an in-built industrial force sensor, making it perfect for applications with high force control requirements. It’s ideal for metal processing, palletizing, heavy parts living, testing and much more.
  • In collaboration with an advanced force control algorithm, the Zu 18s gains the ability to truly ‘feel’ the objects and environments it comes into contact with. The result is incredible accuracy, reliability and safety. How it reacts to the objects it encounters is set according to one of three available force control options: constant force, normal tracking and speed mode.
  • Once the cobot is installed – which can be done at any angle, without the loss of functionality – all force control settings can be accessed via the JAKA app.

Three force control modes can be chosen for the JAKA Zu 18s: constant force, normal tracking and speed mode. Force control settings are adjusted via the JAKA App, with the force value displayed in real-time.
