Why Automate Welding Routine with JAKA Cobots
Welding is a notorious source of workplace accidents, injuries, and long-term adverse effects for humans. Waste gas, arc light and threats such as fire and electric shocks make it dangerous for even the most experienced workers. Automation of welding stands to alleviate these concerns.
JAKA cobots work together with humans, small and light enough to fit anywhere on a production line, but capable of handling payloads up to 18kg, and working radii up to 1713mm.
JAKA cobots’ IP 68 grade and repeatability – between ±0.02 mm to ±0.03mm – ensuring accurate automated welding.
Assigning tasks is a cinch, thanks to drag teaching and graphic programming. Perhaps best of all, no safety fences are required, as they have advanced collision detection. New tasks can be assigned and monitored remotely, through a mobile APP, enabled by the cobots’ wireless interconnectivity.
